Whether you come solo or with friends, you'll find a warm and welcoming environment that encourages relaxation and inspiration. Picture this: hands-on learning in a candle-lit atelier, sipping on a glass of wine or (ginger) beer. Our pottery evenings are not just about crafting; they're about having a good time and scheduling in some quality time with yourself or your loved ones.

Discover the Magic of Clay:
Our workshop unfolds across two sessions. During the first, you'll dive headfirst into the world of clay. You’ll explore two handbuilding techniques for mugs– coiling and pinching. If you have a different vision (perhaps a small bowl, tea bag holder, or trinket dish), share it with me! I’m there to help you bring your ideas to life. By the end of the session, you'll have crafted two clay pieces, awaiting their firing process.

In the second session, your creative journey continues with the exciting craft of decorating. You'll gain insights into the art of glazing, using underglazes, and adorning your pieces with patterns and illustrations. Also, you’ll learn more about the firing process. Your work will dry in preparation for its final firing, and in about a month, your masterpieces arrive at your doorstep. Ready to be used for your morning coffee or evening tea.

My Commitment:
I’m dedicated to creating a safe space where you can be yourself while playing around with clay. Our workshops are conducted in Dutch, with the flexibility to switch to English as needed.

Accessibility:
Please note that our atelier is located on the first floor of a shared creative space with fellow artists. Unfortunately, we do not have an elevator. If stairs pose a challenge for you, please inform me, and we'll arrange to host the workshop on the ground floor.
